For over a decade, I’ve been involved in Colorado’s poetry community. In January of 2021, I was awarded the title of Poet Laureate of San Miguel County, an honor I gratefully held through June of 2025. The poet laureateship was an incredible experience and helped connect me with opportunities like teaching youth workshops, performing at public meetings and celebrations, and representing our region in greater literary circles.
